15 Minute Strut Bearing Removal.
Anyone in the marine repair industry is aware of the many complications that can be involved with replacing a worn cutless bearing. Without special tooling it usually goes something like this: First you remove the prop, then the flange on the gear, then the shaft, and sometimes even the strut. If the rudder requires removal then steering is involved, etc. A lot of time involved, and not always damage free.
