How To Order
Strut Pro®is available as a complete kit for repair yard applications or as a Do-It-Yourself tool to match just your propeller shaft and bearing size.
The full kit includes a variety of precision formed high tensile steel collets designed to precisely match the most popular propeller shaft and strut bearing combinations. These collets can be stacked, thus accommodating a larger selection of sizes.
When ordering the tool and collet assembly for use with one size bearing replacement, you will need to provide the propeller shaft diameter and outside diameter of the bearing. This is exactly the same information needed to order a replacement Cutless® bearing from any marine supply. Johnson Cutless® is the leading strut bearing manufacturer and uses a particular name for each bearing. This minimizes the chance of an error when ordering.
With this in mind, we assemble each replacement tool based on the same part numbers. You order the tool and a bearing replacement assembly by bearing name. For example, to order a DIY tool assembly for a 1 1/4” x 2” bearing you would order (1) Part #: 00121 (Tool Only), and (1) “BITE” Cutless® Bearing Replacement Assembly.
