15 Minute Strut Bearing Replacement
Anyone in the marine repair industry is aware of the many complications that can be involved with replacing a worn strut bearing. Without special tooling it usually goes something like this: First you remove the prop, then the flange on the gear (transmission), then the shaft, and sometimes even the strut. If the rudder requires removal then steering is involved, etc., which can require many hours of labor. A lot of time involved, and not always damage free.
With StrutPro you can do the same replacement but in a fraction of the time because you don’t remove the shaft or strut.
All components are precision plasma and laser formed for exact tolerances. These high tensile T-1 constructed horseshoes show a stacked sequence from 3/4” - 3” cutout to match propeller shaft and bearing outside diameter measurements.
